Check my new tutorial on exactly that... It should clear up some questions.

Hey,

Question.  I've never used sampletank before, what's the benefit to using it with fl studio, instead of just loading the samples directly into fl.  I use fl studio with sonar 4.

Thanks,

Well first of all Sampletank 2xl uses a completely different format then regular samples of .wav.  And one can get way better quality sounds for sampletank.  It also comes with an impressive collection of sounds.  As far as downloading, try a search on google.

There is a free version here: http://www.sampletank.com/Main.html?STFreeDwn

It's not the full version but it's free.

Just for anyone's info:

Please do NOT ask for or trade warez here. I know many of you don't have the funds for full software but it doesn't mean it's owed to you because you're broke.

If you're using software illegally, thats on your conscience if you have one (karma if you don't), but I don't need the headache of the law coming in here to say I'm promoting it.

How many of you would be willing to say it's OK for someone to steal your tracks?

true.... u really do not need warez.... warez opens up a Pandoras Box, that will lead to less time making music, numerous viruses and bad karma.  If u need plugins... go to kvraudio.com. they have numerous free vst's that are of pro quality.  Spend the money to buy yourself a good host and all of your other vst's you can get for free.  if u need suggestions on good freeware vsts just post it in this forum. i am somewhat of an expert on freeware instrument alternatives. thanks
