Hi everyone, love the site!!!!

i guess im just really lost as far as sounds!!! i bought FLStudio 9 xxl and want to break into the scene!!! i lov music... i dont have the best equipment or skills but FLStudio was costly enough. i figure that all the rest will come in time.  but back to the sound thing i'm a really big fan of ICP AND MIKE E. CLARK's sound, that is my inspiration. i have downloaded all these sounds from all over the net some r .wav and some r .mp3. i heard that mp3's r no good? but any ways i have alot of stuff, sound fonts,VST's,VSTI's, fx sound effects, samples from movies and cds, i have differnet kits about 5 differnt 808 kits, i have 909 kits, i have 707 kits, 626 kits, different Tape kits....and the list goes on and on and on. im just really over overwhelmed!!! i dont know what to keep and what to throw out!!! i have a large folder this is all in and when im in the mood to make a beat..(or at least try to !! ) i get so lost in the sounds that i eventually just walk away... no go for me i want to make music. my freinds and i want to start a lable, they all want to rap but i'm more of  a behind the paint kind of guy!! so i thought this would be my calling beat making and mixing/mastering!!! im good with computers also so its right up my alley. i read some where that nfx has a tut. on this but have not been able to find it. any feed back would be helpfull. maybe some links to your favorite sounds?

Dude, start simple. Id learn how to use FLStudio first, then import the ishload of sounds. Scroll down on the forum page to get to the tutorials. Good luck
