When making a cd full of your beats, ( is this what you do ?) if putting them on soundclick, any website where you can put your stuff up to show it..

what do you do with your beat, do you take a certain area, and put that up.. or do you put the first half, first minute ..

if putting them on a cd full of your beats, how much of each beat do put, do you put like the best certain time..etc.

what is the best way to do this.

how do we do this ?

There is no rule on how to present your music..

Do good music and you will get props...it's easy as that.

As for record labels and rappers...most ppl tend to listen to the 10-15 first seconds of a beat and that's it. If you don't want them to lose interest, you better make sure that your intros have something to offer. Most beat-maker put a intro version of the hook at the beginning to show what the beat is all about.

to get started you just gotta find any rapper that you can to spit on your beats. put your stuff on soundclick, but you also gotta find local rappers. its easier to get your name out there with actual songs that you produced rather than just having a bunch of beats with no raps on them. personally, ive started rapping on my own beats, plus i know a couple dudes in my town who rap. i even built a vocal booth in my closet

Well there's many sites out there with emails to certain people that can listen to your stuff, but it has to be amazing. Believe or not, producer manager Zach Katz listens to every single submission he gets sent to him. for more info check out this site with his interview: http://makingthemogul.com/2009/03/talking-with-producer-manager-zach-katz-part-two/
From my mind to your speakers, it'll blow both of yours. -Northern Lights-
