Sup people. I was thinkin about uploading my stuff on soundclick.com but I was wondering if people could steal my stuff or if I should get some copyright crap on it? I just dont want to hear my music on the radio the next day with somebody else's name on it, ya dig?

But forreal, what should I do about that?

What you can do is put like a sample or something like a trademark that runs through your song after a few second. If you check out the soundclicks of most guys here you will see what im talking about.
Good luck!

copyrighting your beat is the best option, for the case were another producer listens to ur track and somehow takes the melodies and uses them. As for stopping small rappers *those who are not signed and ect* best thing to it is tag your beats. Which an audio sample like firebrand said that plays at intervals around the beat.

I'm not an expert, but I'm pretty sure people on the radio don't steal their beats... underground artists might tho

Combine Timbo with a Finnish chip tune musician on the other hand and you got a match.
