listen to a bunch of songs in that style of music, find out what makes that genre stand out, be it the bass lines, the drum patterns, type of instruments used, and try to emphasize that in your instrumental,.... it may take a few days to listen to enough music to get the idea of what makes the genre but it will help you alot... im not particularly familiar with that genre so i can give direct pointers... but pay attention to the music and what makes it unique from other genres

If you mean UK Grime then you'll need a pretty fast tempo, and some real hard drums, you want your snare to be a lil higher in pitched than usual too i think, but i hate grime so i try to avoid it whenever i can XD But yea, listen to Mr whitefolk he gave you some nice advice

To add what whitepholk said.
Check what 'kinda' grime you wanna produce.. New School, Old skool, UK.. and listen to alot of that particular music. Really analyze what the charactaristics are of that music and you good..
