| if i had a thousand dollars given to me, i wouldn't spend it all right now. i would use it to build up my lab. and these are the things i would buy.
Cubase(latest version) Cubase tutorial $ 40 FLStudio tips and tricks $40 Tascam USB interface$ 100-200 Condenser microphone_price may vary 1 TB Hard Drive'$ 200
I'll have about $370 left so i would save it for the future.

| heres my list ^^
What i would buy:
some curtains to hang on my walls, for better acoustics $200
the MPC1000 padfix upgrade (the pads i have now will undoubtably cripple me one day) $180
the MicrokorgXL synthesizer $549
Donate to warbeats (always intended to, still have not gotten around to it ) $30
Some XLR cables for the microkorg $40
that leaves me one buck, wich i will invest in a random homeless person asking me for change ^^ | | | **Hope for the best, Prepare for the worst.**

This would be a great start to a decent studio. I am a rapper who is learning to make beats on something besides "Music Generator", I have been watching the Tutorials and practicing with FL8, but without a keyboard I am having difficulty being as creative as I would like.
And my current PC can't seem to handle the multiple processes in FL8, especially when I play a sample while my project is playing to see if it has a similar sound, but the dual core with plenty of RAM should fix that issue.
Not to mention a decent Mic and a professional piece of equipment to plug it into would give a better sound quality to my verse recordings.
Love the tutorials, keep'em coming.
