Hey everyone i got a question about the recording software cool edit pro 2.1. Everything in the program is working fine besides the fact that i cant hear myself in the headphones when i am recording and its starting to get on my nerves. i did do my research and have been looking franticly but found nothin. If anybody could help me out with this it would b greatly appreciated. this may be a dumb question but again i am new to the production side of music so any type of information would b great. thanx

You would need to describe yuor set up a little more for us to help.

How is everything connected, mic, mixer, interface?

My mic is a AT2020 USB mic so its connected directly to my laptop. I already tried raising the volume on the speakers from my computer which didnt do anything either....im confused

Why do you wanna hear yourself why your recording anyways? Wont that be a distraction? Or am i missing soemthing?

But i don't use cool edit so i have no idea lol. Maybe the vocal track is muted? Apart from that sabbo/lil buddy/nfx are your guys lolz.

In that case let me know how you did it. I have the same setup and been trying to figure out how to do it for the longest.
