I very new to this DAW stuff. I just recently got FLStudio 8. Naturally I needed and still do need help to really get going. For that help I looked in the most obvious place, the internet. However, I am amazed at how hard it has been to get resources etc for this stuff. I found this site from a tutorial on youtube, and this is the best I've found so far. Going into this I figured support would be fairly similar in nature to that of graphic design...Countless forums, portfolio sites, freebies, communities etc. Yet for DAW I really haven't found any. So, what are some sites that you goto for resources and info. Resources being loops, sound packs, samples, sound fonts etc... Any responses would be greatly appreciated... edit: Whats with the weak formating ability on this forum? I can't seperate this into paragraphs? D:

There are plenty of resources on DAWs around the net. However this is by far the best place to visit for all your FLStudio needs.

Like with graphic design, it takes years of study and practise to become adept at it. Simply downloading a brush pack from some blog won't do it. The same with music, all the sample packs in the world won't do you any good if you do not know how to use them.

On the formating issue: We recently upgraded the forums and there a few knicks and knacks to iron out.

I am aware of this....believe me... But access to things like soundfonts etc is always nice.

there are plenty of places on this site where you can find links to places that have sounds and loops.

check the sound design thread for most of this.

also there is a sticky thread in the FLStudio thread about instruments that a lot of people use here.
