As I was checking some feedback, on my older and my newer beats, I realized that some people don't know what the f. a TAG is.
I actually got a feed on a beat to turn up the vocals (which were the ffin TAG!!!)

Soulja-boy-heads, A VOCAL TAG IS A VOICE SAMPLE THAT REPEATS THROUGH THE WHOLE BEAT (or not) IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE BEAT FROM JACKING!!!
Like wtf, isn't that obvious?

This should be a sticky on every page of the forum, and in the feedback disclaimer: "YOU SHALL NOT CONSIDER THE TAG AS A PART OF THE BEAT"

PS: also rate my beats (non anon) and I will return a constructive honest feedback.

hmmmmmm, i agree with what your saying, but if somone posted that on one of my beats, id jus mark worthless because even if they give gd feed, that is a worthless comment

Being completely honest, I think you're wrong.
It's not about the comments with turn the vocals up, it's not about bad rating, it's about people still not knowing what a tag is.
How do you expect to be a good producer or at least a good beat maker if you don't know what a vocal tag is?

Probably the CAPS writing gave you that impression, but this is not a whine about something that happens to me, would ever harm me, but something that ignorants SHOULD know.

But really nice beat, loved the pitch effect on that flute. Liked the instruments and sounds too, nice drums, u should maybe change the kick and set it to a higher volume. Around 2.03 the snare seems a little out of sync. (double snare) the melody was ok, not the best but not bad.

I feel you though k-ta, it's not really hard to figure out that its a tag, even if you can't fully understand it you'll notice it says the same thing over and over and over and over and its usually every 2/4 bars. No-one told me what a tag was, but when i herd em i kinda understood why they were there lolz.

But yea, there should be a lil note on the feedback page explaining tags for those that don't know

sometimes tags [ THIS ] bother me [ POST ] and I can't get into [ WAS ] the flow of the [ MADE ] beat completey. it sucks to get [ BY ] negative feed based on it. I [ NFX ] suggest you make the tag [ AT ] fit in the tempo at [ WARBEATS ] least so it sounds [ DOT ] like it might belong. [ COM ]

^ Lol, so true. I have to start tagging my stuff too, but I use the annoying robotic voice in FLStudio... really messes up the vibe of the song.
