mine is specific to my state.

with contracts, states sometimes have different laws. which is why i got a lawyer to come up with it.
basically what you need to do first is set the terms of your contract: how much you're charging for tracks, how much you want for production points, length of the contract, also what happens if either of you breach the contract...what are the consequences...things of that nature. get your own draft and everything first. from where i started to where my contract is now...its very different and more intricate than what i had.

The whole signature business is outdated and hails from an era that fifn't know comouters or zhe internets.

But it is what it is. And signing electronically is a no no, unless your using some sort of sysem based on secure E-identity scripts like we have here atleast. You can ably fro one from your bank etc. and then get a encrypted personalized key whit a password, which you can in turn use to do your taxes online and stuff lke that.

However leasing the technology for your site will most likely cost you a pretty penny. So the most obvious option would be, print out pdf, sign, scan in paper as pdf, send back.

Echosign.com is one. I used it before. Had to sign an NDA for testing out a online game

EGGSACKLEE

this is what i do. sign it. fax it. have them sign it. fax it back (or email it back, so i won't have to scan it in my cpu). scan it into my computer for filing and stash the copy with both signatures on it in a safe place.
