Ever had one of those days where though you try so hard to be ambitious, think futuristically, and be thankful for the good things in life; u can’t because all that comes to mind is everything that is wrong, bad, and coming to an end. Feeling like if u sat down and wrote out a list of both sides one with each hand; one hand would never stop, and no matter how optimistic u try to be the bad still seems to outweigh the good. Frankly rather the glass be half empty or half full, it’s still only half of what’s there.

This is my official 3000th post here at the boards..
Lots has happened since my 1000th post. I saw people come and go, I became a MOD suddenly and placed 4th in the beatdown 2009..
I've been here everyday for.. I don't even know how long >.<"
But it's always been fun here..

Had quite a good day. School athletics . I'm a discus thrower, be interested if anyone else on here is, but yeh I won that by a bit of a margin hoping to go a through a few stages of competition this year.

aight,

so lately ive been thinking about a possible career in music & sound alot,
and because of that i've been staying home alot to work on it.
for real lately i havent been to any parties, havnt had any girls, i barely even drink anymore (wich is really new to me, specially the drinking part lol).
ive pretty much given it all up to focus on this thing, and what do i do when i stay home to work?
nothing at all.
i just sit and stare like a 10 year old whos mom told him he couldnt go out till he finished his homework.
i really want to start workin on it and do some stuff i can be happy about, but at the point where i sit down to do it suddently everything exept music seems more interesting and i usually end up telling myself ''aight ill go out for a couple of hours then get back to it'' ''ill just play a game for 20 minutes to refresh my mind a lil before continuing''
and then when i get back from doing that, its the same routine all over again.
i really want to do something with music and i know i do have the drive and creativity to do it
its just that ever since it got more serious (music school etc.) it became like an obligation instead of something thats free and great.
and then when i do actually sit and make something ill find myself copycatting scott storch or 9th wonder or whatever, just to be done with it quickly and not have to go to sleep at night thinkin ive whasted another day.
over the past month or two this has really started to mess with my brain and i cant seem to get over this.
all my old beats, the ones i made when it was still a hobby, sound alot better then the ones ive made since i got serious.
my old stuff was genius compared to the crap ive made recently. wich is the wierdest thing cause im learning more things, and im starting to understand more about sound, mixing and mastering etc.
while i should be getting better i actually feel like im downgrading and im limiting my own creativity for some reason.

just some random thaughts ive been having,
can anyone relate to some of this?

like, im not easily embarrassed you know, i stay myself at all times and do a good job doing so.people are always telling me how different and 'real' i am, stuff like that. and i dont get embarrassed about nothing that has to do with me, my personality, or what i believe in.

like, ill be with a girl and im not trying to look tough at all or w/e, im just being myself,

but THE MINUTE she asks me what i do in my spare time/what kind of education i do/what i want for a career, i just get embarrassed as hell. because i know that when i tell her i want to be a musician she'll be like ''Aww another one of those idiots who think they got talent'', but even worse a hip hop producer, thats gonna be even worse ''aww another one of those a milli idiots who think their oh so gangsta bla bla bla''. and i basically end up telling them like a really blurry message about me wanting to do 'something' with music and change the topic.

i mean really, 2 years ago if someone would come up to me saying they wanted to be a beatmaker or whatever, i know i'd think that way about em. so this embarrasses me cause im not trying to give anyone the wrong impression about me.

just some incredibly random thoughts again.. anyone can relate to this?

Almost makes me ashamed and scared to be British, knowing that he could actually rise to power and becaome what can only be described as a new age Hitler. If you havent seen him or dont know what he is type his name in on YouTube

To break it down he is the leader of a political party and he basically wants all non white/ non british out of the country.

My suspicion is that he's under camouflage as a different user (I also have my suspicion as to who he might be)- either that, or he's been kidnapped by aliens who were hired by the iluminatti to steal his memory because he was trying to spread "the truth" which they want to keep hidden... right? Damn its been a while Warbeats definitly stepped it up. This site really got me going when it first began and seeing the tutorials online a couple years back. Since then I produced my first mixtape did all recording and mixing plus some of the beats so its been a great year. Thanks to Warbeats for all the knoweldge I gained. Lets see what next year has in store.

so i just completed possibly the ILLEST track i have ever made (using DSK brass vst in FL Studio) and i render the song to mp3 and the brass isnt there! im shittin a brick cuz i have noooo idea whats wrong. Any similar problems or suggestions????
