Yeah, a friend recommended this site to me for making beats and finding drum kits and I was interested. I might post some of my own stuff later. So, hello, everyone. What's up? I am currently using the FL Studio 8 Demo Version to make my beats. Yeah, it sucks that I can save my beats; I have to leave the laptop on to work on them. :\

I'm not really new to the site I used to have an account but lost the password and the e-mail got deleted I think. Anyways I'm back and in full force as far as my hip-hop crafting skills are concerned. I'll be giving feedback and posting beats of my own in no time and hope to put a demo together from now till shortly after new years. Until then I have one question, what code are you guys using to add an image in your signature?

just got back from europe and having some downtime, i really want to figure out this producing thing! im using fruity loops 9, and just experimenting, but all these abbreviations and technical names are so confusing.. i know what sounds i want to create but i dont have the knowledge to make it happen.. for instance basslines are unreachable for me atm, anybody able to give me a quick crash course?

Wassup. This is J-Duvv. Fairly new to the site and looking to meet fellow producers and learn more about fruity loops since I'm a beginner with the software. I made the switch to fruity loops this year because I felt that I was working too hard with my previous hardware setup. Don't get me wrong....I looooooved my MPC 2000xl, but fruity loops has given me the ability to speed up my process and creativity, which allows me to create multiple beats without having to dump anything into my cubase software. I'm currently using FL9 XXL rewired with Reason 4.0, I have a M-Audio Axiom 49 midi controller, Akai MPD 32 midi controller and a Behringer BCF 2000 control surface. So, if anyone wants to shoot me a holla, feel free, and if you needs beats, get at me!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone,

I am a big fan of music, specifically rap and more specifically German rap (mostly rappers from Berlin), since I am from therem even though I live in Stockholm now.

Now, I have dabbled in creating some beats with fruity Loops but to be honest they sound pretty amteur like, obvioulsy. I am looking to learn as much as I can so I am very thankful for this site and NFX's tutorial videos (they got me here). I am confident that I have a good ear for what a cool beat is, but am lacking the knowledge on how exactly to create them.

I have FL Studio 9 set up at home and have a good PC, but I was wondering what other hardware you guys would suggest for a beguinner (midi keyboard, and such things). Since I am just starting I am not looking at top of the line hardware, more, hardware that is affordable and still has enough features that I could make some beats that sound somewhat professional.

Also, if you have any other suggestions for someone looking into making some cool rap beats, they are more than welcome.

I am known as Kablam on the FLSTUDIO and on Youtube as datdamkablam where I've posted some video tutorials. I live in Orlando, Fl. Originally from the BDB (Boogie Down Bronx). I decide to come back to warbeats as I have been away for awhile. What out as I will be submitting some tutorials in the future. Hopefully they will be approved and posted on subjects I have not seen posted and other that have which I might elaborate on a little further.
