I dont know if its just my computer but the "Beat Feedback " which is normally on the right hand site does really work,

It just says "error"

Its like this for about 2 days now,

Just want to know if anyone knows whats up,

Well, I uploaded one of my beats to the downlaods system thing, It's one of my projects, So i put it into the "User Projects (Not remakes)" category. Now i checked it out, And it was set to "Remake"..What the hell? :/ Its called "Untitled West Coast Beat" I'd Appreciate if someone would check that out for me :/ thanks.

UPDATE 11/19/2009:

The base download count per day is 2 for non VIP, 10 for Contributors (non pay VIPs) and 20 for VIP (paying) users.

Your download count is further affected by a formula that takes into account the following things:

Approved Uploads
Karma
Forum Participation

I won't give out the details of the formula yet because they are still liable to change.

You can get a maximum of 10 bonus points. If you have less than the base number, chances are you have a problem in one of the areas listed.

This is geared to help maximize participation across all areas of the site and discourage leechers.

Private Messages

You guys have to install a message button on people's profiles and maybe a alert for when you have new private messages I doubt anyone even checks them, because I do only when I remember because there's on alert. I've been trying to find a way to contact rHB Productions and I can't even write the guy or find a forum post he did to write him. So what now?

Congrats on the new look. I love the speakers in the background...May I suggest an idea that I think would greatly up your game? Like to hear it, here it go!

I think this site would be even more of an impact by having an intro - Example: "Have an 'ENTER' page with a Bang'in song playing in the background. Something of this nature. I really think it would give the site more Power.

Let me know how you all feel about this?

I love this site and everything it has to offer except it does not have a buy sell trade thread? I find that strange considering most of the forums I am used to have one. Anyways it would help people like me out who don't mind buying used gear if it's cheap and also help people sell gear they don't need anymore. Just a suggestion

When someone leaves your beat a horible rating and just says something like "Nice Try" then you go to theirs and there beats are horible and not mixed or at all pro sounding, you should have something where can flag them as an asshole and if they get enough Flags they should get the boot lol

This site is about making yourself better as a producer and negitive stuff like that is kinda a downer. Just saying maybe you should make something like that.

Chart uploading Problem

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem? When I look at the charts nothing comes up and I cant upload a track, started last night not sure if its the site or what??

Trying to upload doesent let me even go to the page says critical error or something.

i dont know whats wrong with the music player for uploaded tracks, but i went to rate a track and it wont load whatsoever, it just says buffering all the time, i tried it in firefox and internet explorer and it didnt work and then i remembered that i had this trouble before...........anyone know how to fix it?

I want to make a suggestion about the code "feedme=xxxxx" and the "anonymously" function:

When someone types the "feedme" code in his comment, then the comment should not be anonymously anymore, because then removing the link wouldn't make any sense anymore at all O.o

I dont know if its only me but I dont know how to find people or how to send messages to them when ur giving feedback for example all u can see is the artist name not the actual user so can any one help out?

When you click on links on the bottom of the page is code for a linkable image to bring people to Warbeats from your myspace, facebook ect.. The image should be updated to the new logo, just a random thought... I like the new logo.

Couple of things I think would help...

I just got a couple of things that I had in mind... might be a lil nitpicky but maybe NFX would think otherwise...

1.) when you click on "your tracks" (i really think it should say "my tracks"), have it automatically load the page with the latest beat instead of page 1.
- your usually shaking anxiously to see what you have been feeded on your brand new beat, so why not satisfy that urge a lil quicker

2.) limit total amount of tracks uploaded at one time to a page full, and when it gets full and you try to upload a track, lead the user to a page that notifies him/her to delete an existing track before uploading another.
- I dont know much about web hosting but maybe this will free up a ton of space and make this site alot faster?

also I was wondering when the automated beat battle system would be implemented... as of right now i imagine it to be like the world war beats battle 2009... but just completely automated and no sign up necessary. Like it would detect your post count, and then it also decides the victor of the battle by counting the votes... that would be awesome. oh and i almost forgot...

3.) create a beat battle bar underneath your post count bar. it could look like a little thermometer with "0" in the middle indicating neutrality... with "HOT" at the right end indicating more wins... and "COLD" near the left end indicating more losses... the bar could be red at the right end... fading into a neutral color in the middle(grey) and then fading into a icy blue near the left end. might be overkill but it would make this website so much fun.

I feel like there should be better access to the beats we upload to the site. I lways go to the latest tab under charts and that shows like the last ten beats or so but i wanna hear 11-20, you know what Im sayin? So if we could click on a tab that says like uploaded beats and we were able to scroll through all the beats that were uploaded within like a 72 hour period and rate them, I feel like alotta good beats that deserve to be on the top charts just slip past us and once theyre off the latest chart, ou cant find em unless u remember who its by. Anyway, it was just a thought!
